Superb accommodation, excellent breakfast and perfect hosts. What more could you ask for!

ASTONISHING! I cannot say anything other than that. I have stayed in many a B&B thoroughout England and Scotland and I can hondestly say that I haven't stayed in a better B&B. Andrew & Linda offer a standard of accomodation higher than the 4**** that has been accredited by enjoyEngland.com. My stay was superb with a wonderful room and substantial breakfast. Very well done Andrew & Linda,....you have raised the bar for English B&B's. Thank you for your hospitality and see you soon.

We have recently returned from our second visit to this excellent B&B. We were so impressed that we returned with friends and highly recommend Merman Barn to any small group. The accomodation is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is the best, leaving you full and energetic for the day ahead. We were walking and found Linda and Andrew excellent hosts who offered recomendations for more enjoyable walks. Thank you Linda and Andrew.

The exceptionally high standard of accommodation coupled with the friendly 'can't do enough for you' approach of Andrew and Linda made this a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Absolutely perfect place to stay, immaculate accommodation tastefully furnished and decorated. The breakfast was first class with a great choice of beautifully presented food. As if all this wasn't enough the friendly and welcoming hosts made sure our stay was very enjoyable. If you are visitng the Peak District this is definitely the place to stay.

I stayed here in March and enjoyed such warm hospitality that I stayed again in July. Linda and Andrew are perfect hosts and the Merman Barn is the most charming and welcoming B&B I have ever had the good fortune to stay in. The rooms are well equipped and exceptionally clean and comfortable. As for the breakfast, it's nothing short of SUPERB.

We had such a warm and friendly welcome from Linda and Andrew on our arrival. The accommodation is perfection and the breakfasts most satisfying. There was nothing that could be done to have made our stay more enjoyable/comfortable. First Class. We will be back and will certainly recommend to friends.

A weekend in the Peak District was topped off with the very warm and hospitable welcome that we were given by Linda & Andrew. Their home is opened up to make you feel at home. The accommodation showed the same level of finesse as what we had previously experienced in the quality B&B's in Western Canada. Very highly recommended - we will definately be back.

This accommodation is of high standard. The owners Linda and Andrew are very friendly and make your stay a memorable one. We have special dietary needs and they looked after us as if we were at home. Everything is so clean and tidy. We have stayed here twice and both times we give them 10 out of 10 as it has such a homely atmosphere. We will return again in the near future.
