Our 4th visit and it was just so good to be back in the best B&B we have stayed in. Everything is perfect. Thank you Linda and Andrew.

We have been in the Merman Barn B&B in August 2011 for 10 days. We had a very warm welcome. We felt us by Linda and Andrew like at home. The room was beautiful and the breakfast very good. We enjoyed our happy holidays so much and like to come back to Linda and Andrew.

stayed here on the 9th April with my partner. had a lovely time, the room was really nicely decorated and was there was a nice chilled out atmosphere. Tideswell itself is a quaint little village, although the local pubs aren't as good as other villages! but would definitely stay again, the breakfast was perfect!

I spend most of my week travelling Internationally and stay in a variety of 3 & 4 start hotels, but none of them compares favourably with the friendly welcome, accommodation and food that I received at The Merman Barn. Also, the power shower is a genuine power shower, I could have stayed there all day. This is one of the best Bed and Breakfast places you will find anywhere. Highly recommended.

A fantastic bed and breakfast, both andrew and linda where the perfect hosts, welcoming me into there home. I first came in feb 2010 and im back jan 2011. Breakfast amazing, log fire superb !! being on a navigation course, bringing my wife next time... its great here, if you dont come you missing out. !!

Our third visit to this lovely B&B. It just can't get any better. Perfect hosts and beautiful surroundings. The log fire in the evening is wonderful and so are the breakfasts. Thank you so much. Will be back as soon as we can.

My third visit to the wonderful Merman Barn. Linda & Andrew are the most super hosts and we were looked after so well. We were greeted with tea and fresh home made cake. Our room was SUPERB as usual, and with fresh flowers in a vase in the window. The house was immaculate and the room squeeky clean. I love staying at the Merman Barn not only because it's a lovely place to stay but,is situated ideally for the Peak District to the north, and the many delightful villages to the south. Thank you Linda & Andrew. See you next year.

wow sums up our experience of the Linda and Andrews wonderful b&b.We arrived to a warm friendly welcome and tea and biscuits its the little touches that really make a diference.Linda and Andrew work so hard to give every guest the same experience and deserve every accolade they get. a big thank you from me to Linda and Andrew for organising my wifes flowers in the room on our arrival it meant so much. and last but no means least the wonderful room and breakfast, cant fault either of these they are first class. our only wish is that we could go and stay more often. This was our first stay with Linda and Andrew but it wont be our last. see you soon Linda and Andrew.

'STONKIN'! I have just spent a second weekend at the Merman Barn and I can only describe it as above. My room was the same as before and the standard of accomodation has not changed - it's still exceedingly high and extremely good value. The breakfast is substantial and excellent. Thank you Andrew & Linda for a wonderful second visit. We'll see you both in October.

This is our second visit to Linda and Andrew's lovely home. Once again it was perfection and everything done to make our stay memorable. Thanks so much and will certainly be back again.

ASTONISHING! I cannot say anything other than that. I have stayed in many a B&B thoroughout England and Scotland and I can hondestly say that I haven't stayed in a better B&B. Andrew & Linda offer a standard of accomodation higher than the 4**** that has been accredited by enjoyEngland.com. My stay was superb with a wonderful room and substantial breakfast. We have recently returned from our second visit to this excellent B&B. We were so impressed that we returned with friends and highly recommend Merman Barn to any small group. The accomodation is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is the best, leaving you full and energetic for the day ahead. We were walking and found Linda and Andrew excellent hosts who offered recomendations for more enjoyable walks. Thank you Linda and Andrew.

The exceptionally high standard of accommodation coupled with the friendly 'can't do enough for you' approach of Andrew and Linda made this a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We recommend Merman to anyone who wants comfort and a warm welcome. Tideswell turned out to be a perfect location for our first, but not last, visit to this beautiful part of the world

Absolutely perfect place to stay, immaculate accommodation tastefully furnished and decorated. The breakfast was first class with a great choice of beautifully presented food. As if all this wasn't enough the friendly and welcoming hosts made sure our stay was very enjoyable. If you are visitng the Peak District this is definitely the place to stay.

I stayed here in March and enjoyed such warm hospitality that I stayed again in July. Linda and Andrew are perfect hosts and the Merman Barn is the most charming and welcoming B&B I have ever had the good fortune to stay in. The rooms are well equipped and exceptionally clean and comfortable. As for the breakfast, it's nothing short of SUPERB.

We had such a warm and friendly welcome from Linda and Andrew on our arrival. The accommodation is perfection and the breakfasts most satisfying. There was nothing that could be done to have made our stay more enjoyable/comfortable. First Class. We will be back and will certainly recommend to friends.

A first class B&B,easy parking, excellent accomodation,everything is immaculate, even a flat screen TV. Superb breakfast. Very friendly hosts. Highly recommended and would certainly return if in the area again.
